Imagine: among thousands of Beijing citizens you are riding your bike through Beijing. The first time you do this is a unique sensation. No matter how much China changes appearance, the city bike is still the most common sight on the street. Wide avenues full of cycling people offer you the background for a real "China experience". Furthermore, the Chinese cyclist is never in a hurry. Slowly peddling through the streets like you might do on a lazy Sunday, ideal for a relaxed cycling holiday. But what to do when you're not able to read any traffic signs or placenames? Asian Travel Projects carefully selects locations in China where you can cycle safely and comfortably through the countryside. Meanwhile we bring you to some of China's most famous highlights like the Great Wall, the Terracotta Army of Xi'an and the wonderful limestone formations of the Li River.
