Across the mountain ridges of North China lies the "Spine of the Chinese Dragon". No other words better describe the magnificence of the greatest man-made structure on earth. With an estimated length of over 6000 km, the remains of this 2000 year old defense line are still a fascinating sight. How the Chinese build this structure, at some places right up sheer rock faces, is stunning. We take you for six days walking, climbing and crawling over the "Wild Wall", with unrestored parts of the Wall perfectly located amidst the surrounding nature. Don’t take this too lightly! In many places the Wall is in a ruined state and you’ll need all hands and feet to get over it. Mountaineering experience would be helpful. After your Wall adventure there is still time left for sightseeing in Beijing with its Tiananmen Square, and Forbidden City. And we know good places for a cool drink after such exertion.
