Myanmar is also referred to as the country of a thousand temples: one look over the Bagan temple plain shows you more than you can count. Apart from Bagan, you'll also visit the former king's residence in Mandalay , the pilgrim centre Khyaitho, and finally the capital Yangon with its impressive golden Shwedagon Pagoda.
